The ritual
How to practise your Yantrika
- Choose your hour. Dawn, or just before sleep. Return to the same hour on every day of your cycle.
- Prepare the space. Clear a small surface and set your Yantrika at eye level. Light a diya or a candle if you have one.
- Arrive. Sit tall. Take three slow breaths, each out-breath longer than the in-breath.
- Speak the name. Say the engraved name once, softly. This Yantrika is held for them.
- Rest on the centre. Let your gaze settle on the centre for one minute. When the mind drifts, return to it.
- Travel outward. Move your eyes from the centre through the triangles, the petals and the rings to the four gates. Then travel slowly back in.
- Speak the message. Say your Yantrika’s message nine times, slowly, as though it is already true.
- See it whole. Close your eyes and picture the day your wish has arrived. Notice one detail: a sound, a colour, a face.
- Take one real step.
- Seal it with gratitude. Give thanks, mark the day in your cycle, and let the wish rest until tomorrow.
